Hi All and welcome from Pakistan!
My name is Saeed but I am better known as Tiger_Speed_ in the Gaming Zone and with my Tiger Family. I live in Karachi, Pakistan.
Pakistan is a relatively new country - just 50 years young. It all began with a dream of an egalitarian state, when urban Karachi native Ali Jinnah led India's Muslims out of colonialism to independence from both Britian and cultural sibling India.
Jinnah had a vision of a Pakistan built on "character, courage, integrity and perseverance." But his death in 1948 - barely 13 months after the creation of Pakistan - the cobbled-together confederation of competing Muslim interests was left rudderless.
The result has been 24 years of off and on military rule, much of it under martial law, with the intervening years filled by a series of weak or hamstrung governments.
However, Pakistan is often referred to as "the Land of the Pure" and is the homeland for the Islamic faithful. It is a safe haven for its 130 million citizens from Hindu domination. And, it is finally on the verge of bearing the sweet fruit of democracy.
Personally, I am a very laid back individual. I am fun loving and a keen competitor. I joined the Tigers because I related to the Mission Statement regarding fair play and decency. It is my pleasure to serve as a leader of this Family and I hope I have the opportunity of meeting each and everyone of you.
