Jennie was the youngest of three children born in June of 1915 in the family home at 10515 Marilyn Ave. Chicago, She attended Poe Grade School and graduated from Fenger High School in 1933. Her first employment was at the Harmony Cafeteria on Wabash in downtown Chicago as a cashier. Her Uncle Tony was a chef there at the time. She married in October of 1944.

Jennie was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan and often mentioned how she loved to dance.

She died at home in Highland, Indiana in October of 2001. She was 86 years old.
