Future Trunks comes in after the Garlic Jr saga. He has a pretty big role. If it wasn't for him Goku and his friends would have never heard about the androids. But they didn't know about Cell. A evil android made to destroy Goku. Cell messed up the time and made it so Dr. Gero was an android. After defeating one of the androids Gero runs to his lair. He released 17 and 18.(a stupid ideas) But android 17 and 18 didn't really care for the old man, so they killed him.(well lets talk about the cell saga)

During the Cell saga Future Trunks was killed. After the Cell saga they wish him back to life. He had to leave. So Trunks headed home. There he would half to deal with 17 and 18 again.

17 and 18 where there causing destruction. Trunks finally went against them. Killing both of them led back to the old days of peace. Nothing was bad it was all peace. Until he new Cell would be around. He new Cell would try to take his time capsule so he made sure no one would take it. He saw Cell and went against him. He destroyed him with ease. Now there will be no more worries about the androids. Or will there be more.....
