Gentlemen, Here are the simplest, most complete directions to the Pleasant Hill Event. It is highly recommended you gas up in Shreveport before continuing on to Pleasant Hill, there are few gas stations near the site. It is about 50-60 miles from Shreveport to the reenactment site. I would like to thank Allan Fitzwater for providing the advice and directions.
Traveling east on I-20 into Shreveport La take "Exit 11 LA 3132 E/I-220 By-Pass to Alexandria" and go east.
Bear Right on LA-3132, Inner Loop Expressway and go Southeast for 7 Miles
Bear Right on ramp at sign reading "Exit 7 I-49 to Alexandria" go southeast for a half mile.
Bear Right on I-49 and go Southeast for 38 Miles to exit 162
Bear Right on ramp at sign reading "Exit 162 La-177 to Evelyn/Pleasant Hill go south for three tenths of a mile.
Turn right on La-177 and go Southwest for 11 miles.
When you reach the junction of 177 and 175 go to the right on 175
At the Junction of 177 and 175, there might be a beer joint. The battlefield is on the right, just beyond the beer joint on 175, about a half mile.
