United Nations weapons inspectors doubt claims by Iraq that it no longer has chemical or biological weapons. Among the weapons of mass destruction Iraq has used or is suspected of trying to develop:
* Mustard gas, tabun and nerve agents. Iraq used these against Iran and its own Kurdish minority from 1983 to 1988.
* VX and sarin chemical agents.
* Biological agents anthrax, botulin toxin, gas gangrene and aflatoxin.
* Spray tanks and unmanned aircraft to deliver biological and chemical agents. Iraq also is suspected of hiding 60 Scud missiles.
* Nuclear weapons. Iraq has a workable design but lacks the capability to develop enriched uranium or plutonium.
