Hi,my name is George Henderson, This site will show some of the pieces of furniture that I have built for our home and for my children and grand-children. I retired from Eastern Airlines in 1987 and quickly learned that you must have something to keep you busy or else turn in to a couch potato.I started working with wood in 1991,building tie racks,birdhouses,etc.,and discovered to my surprise that I had some talent for it. My passion is working with oak.I love how it finishes,whether with a natural stain or early american or some other stain.The oak replica of an old fashioned wash stand above was my first attempt at cabinetry.It is in our dining room.
