My first child Maureen Elizabeth was born 09/02/63. Thus she was named after my grandmother. My grandfather was a street car driver. I can remember the train rails running down the streets of Minneapolis, MN. We (my siblings and I) would wait for my grandfather to get off work and meet the street car he came home on :-). Funny what stays in your mind. My grandfather's relatives came to America from Scotland. I didn't get to know my grandparents all that well but what I do remember of them was a giant of a man who spoke no English - but could let us know in a heart beat when we were doing something wrong - no language problem there :-). My grandmother was a very tiny sweet loving woman. These are precious memories to have of them.
