Facts about Paul and Karla

Paul Bernardo was born illegitamately, in August 1964, after his mother had an affair. He watched his father continually rape and abuse his mother and older sister. He was obsessed with sex. He was a good-looking successful businessman.

In the mid 1980's he met and fell in love with his future wife Karla Holmolka. Unlike any other girl Paul had ever met, Karla encouraged Paul's sadistic behavior.

With Karla's blessing, Paul felt it was okay for him to rape young girls.Together they raped and murdered numerous girls. Yet they were only convicted for the rapes and murders of Tammy Holmolka, Leslie Mahaffy and Kristen French. .
