eating bread and honey! The Breakers in the basement, making all the
money!"
Abbalah! GORG! Mr. Munshun!
DA FAN DIN-TAH
"CAN-TAH The Court Of The Crimson King!"
Our Story Starts In The Small Town Of French Landing, Wisconsin, Where
Several Gruesome Murders Taken Place Involving Children. We Are Introduced
To The Various People We Meet In Our Story And One Person In Particular, Judy Marshall.
She Has Been Having Dreams Lately, And Sometimes She Hears Voices,
"Abbalah-Doon! The Little Ones Trudging On Their Bleeding Footsies!
Can-Tah! Munshun!" And In Her Dreams She See's A Tower, Streaking The
Heavens And The Darkened Clouds And Beneath The Burning Caves.
She Is Troubled Indeed, But We Will Come Back To Her And Her Boy, Tyler
Soon Enough.
Now, Let us Thicken The Plot. 20 Years After His Trip To The Territories
Jack Sawyer, Now An LA Homicide Detective, Had Solved A Case Here Several
Years Before When A Killer From French Landing Had Travelled To Los Angeles.
The Case Brought Him Back And He Made Friends With The Local Police
Department As Well As Buying A House He Fell In Love With. And After A
Vision Of His Old Friend Speedy Parker Caused Him To Retire In French
Landing.
So What Of The Fisherman? Well, The Story Progresses And He Kidnaps Ty
Marshall, With The Help Of A Little Raven Named "Gorg". He Also Gives
The French Landing PD Some Clues To His Last Victim, Irma Freandeau.
Jack, Becoming More And More Involved With The Case, Receives A Package
From The Fisherman, And Coaxes Him Into Another World. Jack Returns To
The Territories Briefly And Finds Evidence Tyler Is Still Alive. But He
Must Talk To Judy, The Boy's Mother And Since Her Boy's Disapearance Has
Seemed To Have Lost Her Sanity And Has Been Committed To A Mental Ward.
The Investigation Continues, Meanwhile The Fisherman Sets Out To
Frame A Man He Doesn't Like By Placing Pictures Of The Murder Victims
In His Closet. These Are Found And He Is Arrested, But They Find Out He
Had Nothing To Do With It. This Gives Them The First Information About
Black House. A House That Was Built On Land Many Years Ago. The Site
Where It Was Built Has Been A Portal To Other Worlds For Many Centuries
And Upon It's Construction Many Men Were Hurt Or Killed. The Accused Man
Recalls Who Built It And This Gives Them A Clue Who The Fisherman Is.
Jack Goes Back To See Judy Marshall And They Understand She Is Connected
To The Territories In Some Way. He Flips Over Embraced In Their Power,
And Meets Speedy Parker, or Parkus From The First Talisman. He Explains
This Is Much More Important Than A Serial Killer. This Is About The Dark
Tower, And The Crimson King, And Worlds Beyond Counting. His Physical Body Is Pent Up At The Top Of
The Tower, And He Has Another Manifestation That Resides In The Court
Of The Crimson King. He Seeks Out Breakers, Telekenetics That Are Very
Powerful With Their Mind. He Seeks To Break The Six Beams That Hold Up
The Tower To Release His Body So He Can Reign Din-Tah. The Fisherman's
Job Is To Find These Talented Breakers, And Bring Them To Lord Munshun,
Who Will Then Take Them To The Crimson King. The Fisherman Gets His
Sadistic Rewards And Has Ty Marshall Locked In A Cell In Black House.
The Crimson King Seeks Out Breakers In All Worlds, But Jack Knows He Must
Enter Black House, Where He Will Find The Fisherman And Must Confront
Mr. Munshun.
So What Happens You Ask? What Of The Children And Their Bleeding Footsies?
The Fisherman? Munshun? Ted Brauttigan? The Land Of Din-Tah, The Combination?
You'll Just Have To Read To Find Out. ; )
