THE APALACHEE RIOT
AKA The "Little Melee" or 'Brawl'
Tuesday, February 01, 2005
"I CALLED APALACHEE THIS AFTERNOON.
VISITATION THEY SAY IS ON FOR THE WEEKEND."
February 1, 2005: "I called the prison last night. I was told "it wasn't a 'riot'", just a 'little melee'. They told me I'd have to call back in the morning.
MY LOVED ONE'S COUNSELOR WAS ABLE TO TELL ME THIS MORNING THAT MY SON WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE 'LITTLE MELEE' (NOT 'RIOT' ACCORDING TO HIM) AND THAT 100 INMATES INVOLVED WERE TRANSFERRED LAST NIGHT - DID NOT SAY WHERE - VERY CLOSED MOUTH."

Apalachee Correctional Institution in Sneads -- right where Allen Clark lives and parties -- was the site of an inmate riot today. Seven officers were injured - some quite seriously, I hear. It has been rumored that it was gang-related and was in retaliation for the Valdez murder -- especially with all Clark's and Crosby's people moving this way with them. Tip of the iceberg. Keep your listening ears on!Did you receive a packet via snail mail regarding ACI and Allen Clark from an anonymous source? (i.e., Halloween party, Florida State Employees Charitable Campaign)
I'm attaching what was related from the public information officer for DOC.
"Haven't talked with anyone yet, but Ivey's version is not what I've heard. The poop is that this was inmate retaliation for the Valdez murder -- many, many of these big shots Clark brought with him were involved in the murder. Sec. Crosby was even warden at the prison at the time of the (Valdes] murder. DOC promotes for bad deeds, evidently. It was also said that the riot was gang-related.
According to a 25-year vet of ACI, this is the first stabbing of an officer by an inmate. Clark and his crew have put security at the bottom of the totem pole -- after all, flag football team members, as well as softball and volleyball and golf, need the time to practice. I knew it would be a matter of time before it all came to a head. You wouldn't believe all the stuff!
Correction: That's Jackson Hospital. I'll let you know if I hear more. "
"Several Calhoun Correctional Institution (CaCI) staff members spent Monday afternoon helping officials at nearby Apalachee Correctional Institution (ACI) in Sneads after multiple fights broke out leaving one officer stabbed and eight others injured.
“A fight inititally began with two inmates outside the recreation yard,” Sterling Ivey, spokesperson for the Florida Department of Corrections tells The County Record. “An officer went to break up the fight and, as he secured one inmate, The second inmate ran to the yard. The one he was trying to secure turned around and stabbed him. Then, that inmate took off running to the recreation yard, too.”
At that point, Ivey says several spontaneous fights broke out amid a crowd of inmates estimated at 200 and the officers guarding them. “It was all physical from there,” Ivey remarks, adding that he is unsure whether any weapons were used in the fights.
Eight officers, all unidentified by DOC officials, were taken to the ACI medical facility where they were treated for fight related wounds, abrasions, and swelling. The officer who was stabbed was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. “At last report, his injuries were not life threatening,” says Ivey.
Immediately following the altercations, the area was secured and CaCI staffers, along with Warden Jeffrey Wainwright and Asst. Warden Henry Boyd, arrived to assist. “Because there was a large number of inmates on the recreation yard, we have to go through a tedious process of securing the recreation yard with about 200 inmates and searching, identifying, and interviewing each of those inmates to see how they were involved in what happened,” Ivey explains. “We use staff from other prisons to help with security and transporting inmates from the recreation yard to places where they can be identified and interviewed. We know all 200 weren’t involved in the fight, but it’s a process of weeding.”
Ivey says the weapon used in the stabbing was unknown as of Monday afternoon. “That’s one of the key questions we’ll have.” "
Oh Yea! Not surprised. Great information. Thanks for sending this to me. Allen Clark sent a lot of good ole boys from this area to work for him. Master, Richard Frye one of the biggest thugs is the Colonel of ACI. I will get to work on this immediately. I also know many others who followed good ole AC to Region I. Isn't it funny how the terror follows this nasty, idiot, Allen Clark? Don't let this one get by. We'll dig and dig until we find out just what went on. Needless to say, I am sure the inmates are now at FSP getting the snot beat out of them on Q wing. Sent me all you can. I am steaming mad. If this does not prove that AC is Satin, I don't know what will. See, inmates and STAFF are injured at the hands of this corrupt, ,misrun agency. Please, please keep me informed.
We'll have to begin calling the prison. They'll probably have a lock down, for how long I don't know. Everything is the same for both east and west except the snail mail address.EAST:
