With it's South Seas architectural style the Polynesian Resort is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. In the main building a large part in the roof is made of glass, so it looks like you are checking in at an open-air lobby. In the lobby area Disney arranged a little tropical rainforest island, complete with waterfall and real life parrots. I am not sure if they added some stuff to this hotel since I last stayed there in the mid 90s but this is a beautiful hotel to stay in. In the evening you are able to see a Polynesian Luau, which is a crowd favorite and attracts not only hotel guests. The Polynesian is connected to the Magic Kingdom Monorail line and walking distance from the Transportation & Ticket Center. You can also board a ferry directly to the Magic Kingdom. If you stay at the Polynesian, you’ll get access to five championship golf courses, the Grand Floridian’s health club (open 6am - 9pm), two swimming pools and much more.
