1. REAL CHOPPERS

 After the early-chopperperiod came the real-chopper period. Forks got more and more extended, and frames got higher and longer. Springer-forks were very popular. Small gas-tanks, short rear-fenders and apehangers are mostly ingredients of these bikes. Real choppers look very much like Swedish choppers, but the Swedish style looks lower and more stretched than the American real-chopper style, which have less rake.
