Name: Rahul Nandi Date of Birth: January 11, 1984 Zodiac Sign: Capricorn Since childhood, I have been interested in the fashion/showbiz/entertainment industry. At a very young age, my parents encouraged me to do small fancy dress competitions and dance shows. When it came down to it, I found myself with a new passion. Living in the Middle East, my father helped me get a good footage into this entertainment world. Since he was a marketting/recreational manager; he used to organize many Star Nights where I was given a chance to express my talents. From 1992-96, I had put on almost 35 dance performances and acted in several plays. After a short span of time, we moved to Canada. Here I indulged my self in plays and local talent shows all the way through elementary and high school. I acted in a couple of Shakespearen plays, which helped me rid myself of stage fright and gain confidence in this field of work. Through friends I was recommended to few fashion show coordinators who agreed to work with me. In February 2003, I worked with Reeta Sethi, who organized a Valentines fashion show. I modelled for Nucreation and Sonu Sarees. Later that month, also represented India for International Night, by putting up a dance mix. In the month of May, I modelled for Sportschek featuring the nights Urban Flavour sequence, as well as Freeman/Stars Formal Men's Wear in a fashion show, "Material Attractions". As time progresses, I look forward to having a future in this field.
