TWO AFRICAN QUEENS
Two African Queens, is what I've always thought of Mommie and Pansy as.
These two ladies held our family together, just like most mothers and
grandmothers; women.I have a great deal of respect for women, because despite all the adversities faced inside this male dominated world, women have made great contributions to mankind and to the world, and a family wouldn't be a family without them.
Our family depended on the strength and wisdom of these two Queens and their absence from our lives has had far-reaching effect on the bond that once held us together like glue.
Now we are left with memories of their loving ways as our guide to carry us on, and I truly long (as I'm sure the others do) for that day when we will all be reunited.
Family is special, and there is no subsitute for having a strong and loving family support base.
If Mommie and Pansy, were alive today, many of the struggles I face and the issues I've yet to resolve, would be of been faced and dealt with, and I would not be running on "survival mode" right now in this mad, mad, world.
