A night out at the dogs was enjoyed by player's and their families and friends as a full coach load left The White Horse. Proud winners of the various awards included Mark Dando (Player's Player of the Year), Andy Webster (Leading Goalscorer), Ian Thurston (Manager's Player of the Year), Peter Cron (Club Captains Award for Most Improved Player) and Bradley Cron (Clubman of the Year) Not so proud winners of Blunder of the Season, Stu Judd and Ade Holman took their trophies in good spirit as everyone relived their embarrassment of that awful own goal against Pirelli General. Ibiza Summer 2002 Ten Members of our squad flew out to Ibiza on Saturday 22nd June 2002 to take part in a European 6 a Side Tournament run by Football Mundial. The lads, entering the competition for the second year running played under the name Totton's Ibiza Touring Squad or T.I.T.S. The matches were played in evening through to around midnight. This was the excuse given by many of them for the failure to score too often. On the footie front, the team was delighted to make it through their group into the knock out stages. They eventually lost in the last 16 to the eventual Runners Up, in a competition which attracted sides from around Europe. |
