THE OBSCENE FALL 2005 PRESS RELEASE

THE OBSCENE are a trash rock 'n' roll act (appealing to indie, rockabilly, instro-surf, garage and punk fans alike)
that have been touring for a little over 4 years.  This Oct/Nov. we will launch another US Tour to promote our soon
to be released full-length album, DEATH RIDES A PALE WHORE.

We have a growing North American fanbase due to constant touring and self promotion, and have played with many national 
and international punk, rock and psychobilly acts (Groovie Ghoulies, Against All Authority, The Casualties, Angry Samoans, 
Los Straitjackets, Demented Are Go-UK , Mad Sin-Germany) as well as having been one of the bands featured in the DVD Punk 
Rock Holocaust (Backseat Films--filmed during Warped Tour 2003 and starring the likes of Rancid, Andrew WK, The Used, 
Pennywise and many others) and one of our songs is featured as the title track of the upcoming TROMA film, POULTRYGEIST 
(directed by Lloyd Kaufman, director of the Toxic Avenger and founder of Troma Films).  We have also been special guests 
at the yearly SCREAM FEST Horror Festival (www.spookyempire.com) in South Florida and The House Of Blues (Orlando, FL).
 
Our upcoming album, DEATH RIDES A PALE WHORE (to be released this fall by Bony Orbit Records/Cargo), also features guest 
vocals by STZA of LEFTOVER CRACK (Alternative Tentacles Records) fame.
