LACK OF MEDICAL TREATMENT
For Leg Wound
PRISONER B
Prisoner B would like to remain unnamed as his house was burned down. He and his family have reason to believe that it was burned down by a certain Jailer. He spent a month in jail. He came into the jail with this leg problem. 10 years earlier he had a pin put in his leg. This pin has been causing him problems ever since. Over the past ten years 2 of the holes you see happened because of this pin, but he had medications that kept it under control.
While spending a single month in this jail and being denied meds during that month, he developed the other two holes and it all got infected. This infection got in his blood and poisoned his body. He nearly died. He is still on an IV 3 weeks later. He has had one operation to try and save his leg. They are still waiting to see if they will have to remove it completely. |
