History

* The Olympic Heights Drama Department has been home to Thespian Troupe 4992 for the past 11 years.

* The students learn under the direction of the "drama mama", Jacquie Hasko, a University of Florida graduate who has been teaching for over 25 years.

* The Thespians of Troupe 4992 took home ten Critic's Choice Awards at the District X Competition and two at State Festival last year.

* The Drama Department produces and stages their plays at the Olympic Heights Theater located at the school on 20101 Lyons Road in West Boca Raton.

* The Department stages two mainstage productions per year; a fall play and a spring musical. They also produce a dessert theater in January.

* Graduates of the OH Drama Department are currently employed in theaters as actors, actresses, light technicians and even production designers.

* The Drama Club, or Thespian Society, is one of the 3 largest clubs on campus. The members are a widely diverse group of dedicated students.

* Thespians from Troupe 4992 also travel throught the county and perform for various community groups.
