Everyone down here knows me as Jewel and not Julia. Not only is Jewel my nickname, but it's 
so much easier for others. People mispronounce my real name all the time or call me Julie. 
It gets so annoying, so at least this way people remember my name easier and *not* 
mispronounce it! One big thing I have noticed is that *everyday* there's always some Guest
or Cast Member that thinks up some little pun for "Jewel". It could be "you're such a gem" 
or saying "now I can tell my grandkids I saw Jewel on the bus!". Sure, it's cute and all but
I'm slightly getting tired of it. Ah well..

Well I called casting services about being a character and find out I can't because I 
already have a contract with the college program. And only in extreme cases would I be able
to (which would mean I'd have to be about 4'5 or something). I can always audition after my
time is up, which I may still do, but that would mean I'd stay in Florida *after* the 
college program is up and over. There is only one way I would even concider this and that 
would be if I were cast as a face character. And still even that I would have to seriously 
think about. In any event, I totally doubt that would even happen.
