May 28th, 2002 Today was my day off so a friend of mine, Kris, and I went to Epcot and use her video camera to record just about everything and the people we work with for her family and friends back home. Of course, I'll be getting a copy too (unedited of course since it's funnier that way) and maybe send it come with my mom when she comes to visit so my friends at home can see it too. We'll see. :) For lunch we went to the United Kingdom at their Rose and Crown resturant. Now, if you know much about the UK and its surrounding countries you'd know they're known for their fish and chips. And for the last few months I've been playing with the idea of eating fish again since the original idea of not eating fish was because I didn't care for it anyway and fish have feelings too. However, I also know that fish is important and great for the heart. I'm also having difficulties sometimes getting my protein. So, I did it. I had fish and chips. But hardly anything really, Kris and I shared a plate. This really only means one thing; that I will have fish from time to time but hardly ever. I still found it really difficult to eat it in the first place so we'll see how this goes. On a side note, I HATE it when people try to find problems in my reasons for being a vegetarian and to me that shows a lack in respect for my decisons. This is just a fair warning for anyone who decides to piss me off. So Anyway... After we finished with Epcot we did a very small portion of Magic Kingdom before her battery finally died and we were growing tired. So we went to The Grand Floridian (the most expensive WDW resort) and rented a boat for us to use in the Seven Seas Lagoon. The SSL is the lagoon that's directly in front of Magic Kingdom and is huge. They actually drained the thing while they were building the park. It's also a fun way to get to and from MK and the deluxe resorts surrounding it by way of ferry boat. Of course we still have the classic monorail system as well (which we also rode in the captian's area that day too!). We had to admit that even though CPs have no seniority or say in anything and we always get the short end of any stick when it comes to work, we realized that the benifits out weighted the the bad stuff. At least, that's how it looked to us when we were out in the middle of the lagoon in a rented motor boat (which we later ended renting for free :). Lastly, we went back to Epcot and ate dinner in the Japanese resturant before heading back to meet William for "game night". Since it was at his house and he was the only one with a car, we had to wait until both he and Greg finished work to go. And let me tell you, I suck at Nintendo 64, but only because I never really was around any friends who had it either! So now it's on. I'm gonna practice and kick all their butts! Whahaha! :-D But I still kick butt on NES and SNES! And of course, Playstation!
