• Fleetwood Mac are due to release a new Best of double CD on October 15th on Reprise.  The set list is billed to include:

• Stevie recently performed as a special guest on vh1's Divas 2002 alongside acts such as Cher (below with Stevie, dressed as Elvis!), The Dixie Chicks, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Shakira, Anastasia, Whitney Houstan and Cyndi Lauper.  Stevie performed Landslide with the Dixie Chicks (above left) and an Elvis song as part of the finale.  Find out more about the show at the VH1 website. 

• Stevie played with Sheryl Crow  in New York on March 6th in a concert to benefit the  National Breast Cancer Coalition website.

• Congratulations to Mick and Lynn Fleetwood on the birth of their twin daughters, Ruby and Tessa, who were born on 27th Feb.

   

• Stevie has received a Grammy nomination for Planets of the Universe in the Best Female Rock Performance category.  The results will be announced on the 27th February. See the Grammy nominees page for more details.

• Stevie Nicks and Friends is scheduled to take place in Phoenix on December 6th.  The guest list so far includes Lindsey Buckingham, Sheryl Crow and Don Henley.  See Nicksfix or the AHI website for details.

• Stevie will perform on December 9 in San Francisco for KFOG's Concert For Kids.  

• Stevie is due to perform at the Jingle Ball on December 7th in San Diego, California. The event is to raise money to help victims of domestic violence. For more details, see the Jingle Ball website.

• 'A Very Special Christmas 5' has been released, which includes a live Stevie Nicks version of Silent Night.

• Stevie performed Sorcerer at the Radio Music Awards which was held on October 26th in Las Vegas.  Check out the RMA site for details.

• Due for release on November 21st is another best of album entitled the 'Very Best Stevie Nicks Album Ever'. The album includes 18 tracks including three duets.  Find out more about the album and order it at Stevie's Online Store.

• Stevie returns to the road to finish her Trouble in Shangri-La tour. Read about it at VH1, The Wire.

• Concerns are arising for Stevie's health and the completion of the Trouble in Shangri-La Tour which is currently underway.  Two California shows have been postponed as rumours reveal that Stevie is recovering from bronchitis.  Read more at VH1.com The Wire or at the Nickfix.

• The next US release from Stevie's new album' 'Trouble in Shangri-La' is to be 'Sorcerer'.  The single entered the R&R Triple A Chart at no.26, then climbed up to no.18 and now stands at no.16.  

• The Destiny's Child single 'Bootylicious', which features the Stevie Nicks track 'Edge of Seventeen' was released in the UK on 23rd July 2001.  It missed out on the no.1 spot to UK girl group Atomic Kitten with their version of the Bangles' song 'Eternal Flame'.  The CD includes the video to 'Bootylicious', which also features Stevie.  See below for a link to see the video online.

• Tour dates for Stevie's U.S. tour are being released and many are on  sale. There have been no confirmed bookings for a European or U.K. tour as yet. People, watch this space. In the meantime, you can see a list of the U.S. dates here at Nicksfix.  Sheryl Crow is said to be joining Stevie on the first 6 dates of her U.S. tour.  

• Stevie recently performed at the R&R Convention 2001 on June 15th in Los Angeles, with longtime Fleetwood Mac fan and former U.S. president Bill Clinton as her opening act!  She performed a set of four songs including Trouble in Shangri-La' track 'Every Day' and Rumours classic 'Dreams'.

• 'Live at Red Rocks' is to be released on DVD on the 23rd of July.  You can pre-order your copy of Red Rocks on DVD at Amazon.co.uk.
• Plans are underway for Fleetwood Mac to make a comeback - another one! Since 'The Dance' the members have decided that it is time for them to make another record, but this time, without Christine McVie. The Mac's pianist/singer/songwriter since 1972 has moved back to England and cannot be convinced to come out of retirement. The band, who will continue without Christine, will consist of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Stevie Nicks. They are expected to begin on the album when Stevie has finished touring.    
• Destiny's Child have sampled Stevie's 'Edge of Seventeen' on their new single 'Bootylicious'.  The track can be found on their latest album 'Survivor'. Stevie also make a brief appearance in the video playing the guitar! See the video at ET Music.

• 'Planets of the Universe' was released in the U.S. on July 3rd.  There has been no  confirmed date for a release in the U.K.  The single will include remixes by Illicit and Tracy Young.  You can import the CD here at CDZone.

• The Rumours DVD was released on May 29th in the U.S. but a U.K. release date is still to be confirmed.  The DVD will include extra footage and a documentary.

• Stevie's new album 'Trouble in Shangri-La' was released on April 30th in the U.K. and May first in the U.S.  After only 5 weeks the album went Gold on the Billboard charts on June 8th. If you do not already have a copy, you can order it here at Amazon.
