Another year come and gone. It was a year of change for GH, brought about by new headwriters and a whole lotta cast shuffling. As the S&C/Sexis wars were heating up, Brenda was announced as coming back to Port Charles. (Gee, after 3 and 1/2 years, SOD got it right!)Courtney and AJ, a great and promising couple, was blown apart only after seeing "Daisy" strip a few times. AJ's the stalker? We were NOT amused. The Attic story started out so promising with the return of Rick Webber. It ended so badly with a hurried conclusion and Laura wheeled off into the sunset. Helena's banished to the polar ice cap, Sarah evaporated, Kristina blew up, Roy left with a wimper, Florence and Janine vanished, Alcazar had a free fall and many of our fave vets lost almost all airtime. Board wars got vicious over baby Kristina and Liason fans felt cheated out of their love scene. Zander fans just stared at a blank screen while S&C, J&B, Brazen and SkyeJax supporters watched their couples do a merry waltz among partners.
Tattoos, explosions, murders, affairs, mob wars--all standard fare for 2002. The daytime "Sopranos"?? Not even close.
