The hot summer day is just cooling, and the sweet smell of candyfloss and freshly popped popcorn hangs in the air as you cross the field to the glowing tent. The carnival music grows louder. Balloons abound. You purchase your ticket from the funnyman at the table filled with programs and coloring books, and catch a glimpse of Christopher playing his accordion.
