Philadelphia Folk Festival Archives Crew 1978 - 2000

The very first Philadelphia Folk Festival was recorded on reel-to-reel tape by Mike Marmel, one of the festival founders. Mike invited me onto the Recording Crew in 1974, and I've been there ever since. Over the years, Archives headquarters has evolved from an exposed table in the concert area with plastic rain cover(bzzzzzzt those headphones were electrifiying in the rain....) to a trailer with professional quality setup for recording the main stage concerts.
