ART THAT HEALS, Inc.

To encourage cultural literacy in the Rio Grande Valley by promoting the arts and to use art to help bring an end to the AIDS epidemic.

We are an incorporated (Texas) nonprofit corporation and as of Dec. 28, 2004 we have been recognized as a federally tax-exempt organization by the IRS under its 501 (c) 3 statutes!! As a tax-exempt . public charity we serve the people of deep South Texas with pride and responsibility. We are looking for a home and are organized in Donna, Texas for now.

We are sponsoring O.P.P. (Other People's Poetry) on April 30!!! Come read and join the fun in honor of National Poetry Month.

We are sponsoring another Coffee Talk Series event on June 25 with featured readers still being sought; so far poet Steve Vera and poet Lady Mariposa will be featrued readers. Master of Ceremonies is Amado Balderas. (See link below). Some Favorite Quotes: Click to View or Add Text.
