WYBUNG SOARERS

PICTURE PAGE.

We have one of our members who consistently out performs us all by virtue of his skills as a designer and builder of slope soarers.  (Not to mention his flying skills) His name is Morris Mattiussi and I first want to show you a couple of his creations.

The Strega (which means "witch" in Italian) is a fast aerobatic slope flying wing.  It gains height rapidly and uses all available lift.  It turns on a 5 cent piece, rolls either fast or slow and does the full range of aerobatics available to a aileron only model.

It has balsa covered foam wins and a fibre glass fuselage.  Servos can be in the wings or inside the fuselage.

It is a great plane for the advanced or intermediate flyer.

The Apache is a contest winning Pylon Racer.  It does all that it supposed to do, but what I like about it is that it seems to be able to dive and come up, certainly to the same height (but I think sometimes more!) It is all fibre glass.

Frighteningly fast, and looks great in the air.

If you want to contact him, please phone (02) 43924054 (Australia)

Here are some of my current models

This is my home made "Zagalike"

The Mugi.  A great Corflute plane.  Balsa ailerons are better.

Canterbury sailplanes PC 9  Very nice combat model. Zagi can beat it but at least you are flying something that looks like a war bird.

A Dazi.  A Corflute Zagi type of plane.  Works very well indeed

Here are few of other members models.
