Showing Their Steps The Bosilek Bulgarian Folk Dance Ensemble, regarded
as the only exclusively women’s Bulgarian performing ensemble
in the U.S., entertained the crowd during the Bulgarian
Liberation Day Festival held recently at Bohemian Hall in
Astoria. The members include: Director and Co-Founder Cathie
Springer, Co-Founder Micki Long, Virginia Berlin, Cipora
Blitz, Joyce de Saussare, Eniko Horvath, Monic Ravinet, Jill
Sakowitz, Connie Hassberg, Ruth Viera and Jean Zuru. Iliana
