Lydia was my great great grandmother. My great grandmother was Louisa Clevenger Morton. She was the last of the 16 children Louisa had. These are very wonderful pictures. Thank you for posting them. I have never seen pictures of Lydia or Abraham.

Do you know who Lydias parents were? I am a Mellott and
have been doing research into my fathers family. Can't seem to come with any pictures of any of his family but have traced his ancestors back to the 1500's. Thanks for

I have in my file that Lydia's parents were Obadiah Mellott and Katherine Sipes. I pulled this information from the internet, so it's net verified; I have no documentation. If you contact me directly I can send a GEDCOM file or something similar if you like. It would be a good starting point for more thorough research.

My grandmother was Catherine Mellott was mmarried to Elmer Clevenger her sisterwas married to George Clevenger brother to Elmer.I have an old family picture of Clevengers and what I believe to be Catherine and her sister

Hello,
I'm Greg Clevenger.
Son of Donald Willard Clevenger, Grandson of Granville Clevenger.
I was born in Rockford IL in 1956.
My Grandparents moved there prior to WW 2 from Cairo IL.
My Father was the 13th of 18 children born to Granville and Daisy.
I've heard all Clevengers are related, but I do not know any of my relatives.
I would be thrilled to hear from anyone that could help me fill in some blanks.
I'm a Phoenix, AZ resident. There are a number of Clevengers here in Arizona but none of them seem to be related to me.
