Gene & Susan Dawson started Dawsonconcerts House Concerts in March, 2001, and have hosted over 50 house concerts, starting in their home in North Potomac, Maryland, and now in their home in Silver Spring, Maryland. Dawsonconcerts has hosted National and International artists. Their house concert series has received reviews and articles in major Washington, DC and Montgomery County, Maryland newspapers, a Coffeehouse Cable TV feature on House Concerts aired on 12 Wash., DC/Baltimore, MD stations, and a Washington, DC Channel 5 News TV special viewed by over 200,000. Dawsonconcerts has featured artists who have written and recorded and toured with such greats as Jimmy Buffett, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt and Crystal Gayle. |
