HOLLANDER, John and Marie (Winkelman)
John born in 1864 came to America from Germany at the age of seventeen with his sister, Mrs. John Woest and settled near Treynor, Iowa. In 1882 he went back to Davenport to work on a dairy farm. In 1886 he came to Aspinwall to start farming.
Marie Winkelman born in 1871 came to America with her father Christopher Winkelman and sister Anna in 1883 and settled near Vail. John and Maria were married in 1889 and lived near Manilla and retired to Manilla in 1929.
Children: Anna , Ida , Alma , Martha , Hulda , Harry , Bill, Emma Albert and Rudy.

John married Marie Winkelman, daughter of Christopher Winkelman and Margaretha Bracker, on 30 May 1889. (Marie Winkelman was born on 30 Dec 1871 in Lutzhorn, Schleswig Holstein, Germany and died on 17 Oct 1945 in Walkertown Iowa.)
