Mrs. Therelia Hartmann. Mrs. Theresa Hartmann died at her home in Wish- frgto.n township at.12:30_friday, Sept,12 1913 after a short illness. -Mrs. Theresa Hartmann was born at Fnglesweis fladell, Cermany, the 7th daS@-4) Octoller, IP.10.. In the summer -i)f 1862 she came to America set- Ciing in Buffalo, -14. Y. In the fall of 1852 confessing her faith in Christ, she was converted and joined the German Evangelical church. In the year of 1964 she was married to John G. Weisser of Oberstfelt Wittemburg, Germany, also a me-nber of the Evangelical church. To this union seven children were born. five rur- viving,'a'nd they are John G. Weisser, of 'Dedham, In.. Christian M., of Sioux City, Matt, of Martell, S. D., Mrs.. Anns Cordary, of Des Moines, and Mrs. Rosit @Hartirnann with whom she has lived until the time of her death. In the year of 1876, her husband, Johii G. Weisser, died a! d in 1877 she moved with her family to Maren- go and Wm married to Christian Hartmdnil of Wjish- ington to nsh , w @cAha_4_.bee@n -1p She lived a true aiid noble Christia!i life, ever looking to her Master. iMany Nvere her hardships and trials but her faith in Christ never wavered no matter how dark the hour might be; she would say- Thy will, not mine. be done. @ghe.' had Po love or desire for worldly luxury but she loved her Lord and Master above all and served him constantly. as ]her well-worn Bible plainly shows. She will be sadly irnissed bv her family and es- pecially her gra-tdchildrcn, wboin she loved at-id cher- ished and brought up under her Christian in- fluence. She remained conscious until the inmt, making her own fuiieral arrangements and choosing her own pastor and calling each one to her bedside, taking their hands and bidding them farewell. With a good advice pointing them to Jesus, she peacefully passed away to awake in Jesus. The sweetest and most precious hours of her life were the hours of prayer, sweet hour of prayer com-nuning with ]her Savior. .-...-She skiro, has one-sister and two brothers surviv- ing, John Ruish of California; Thomas Paish, Sargent, Nebrsxftka- Nellie Hoffman. Mountain Home. Idaho. She also leaves eleven grandchildren to mourn her loss.
The funeral was held Monday at ten o'clock. Rev. C. R.
