The Easy Hoes Album Review Page

Here are a few reviews of the Easy Hoes album that I've found. Hopefully there will be more over time as I comb through the San Francisco newspaper's archives. But the process is very slow since I live in New York, but I'm trying my best!

THE SHINDIG RECORDS CATALOG REVIEW:

"A wacky folksy pop album filled with beautiful harmonies, infectious melodies, and barbed wire humor. One of the truly great bands to come out of the late 80's SF folk explosion, this album is a real must for any music fan."

AMG EXPERT REVIEW:

This country-rock quartet was one of the San Francisco bands featured on the Lazy, Loud, and Liquor'd Up compilation. Tragic Songs of Life includes two selections from that CD, Bill Monroe's "In the Pines" and a rock hoedown version of "On the Rock (Where Moses Stood)." Other covers include Hank Williams's "Lost Highway" and "Poor Red Georgia Dirt." Some of the originals (notably "Separation") sound like the early Long Ryders. The standout track is a country-rock version of AC/DC's "You Shook Me (All Night Long)." — Dennis MacDonald, Roundup Newsletter

Thats it for now, hopefully there will be more in the near future!
