John Lucock & Liddia Borthell©

The son of Richard Lucock and his wife Agnes, John was baptised in St James, the Parish Church of Shere, Surrey on the 28^th November, 1580¹.  Ancestry Family Trees indicate he married Liddia Borthell in 1603.  A marriage record found they married in the Dorking Parish Church, Surrey, on the 29^th September².

Liddia was baptised on the 6^th October, 1583, in the Parish Church of Horley, Surrey¹.  The record shows her father was John.  Horley is approximately 27km west of Shere.

Parish records show John & Liddia had at least three children: John 1603-1631; Mary 1610; and Ephraime 1613-1668.

John died in 1613 and was buried in the Parish Church St Martin on the 3^rd November³.  To-date no record has been found of Liddia’s burial.
