Nicholas Oliver and Sarah Fryer ©

Baptised on the 1st January, 1698, in St Giles Parish Church Chideock. The Parish record indicate Nicholas was the base-born son of Grace Oliver1

The next record we have of Nicholas is when, on the 11th November, 17232, he married Sarah Fryer by Banns in the the Chideock Parish Church of St Giles.

Sarah, the daughter of Walter fryer,  was baptised in the Shaftesbury Parish Church of St Peter on the 18th February, 16931

Public Family Tress on Ancestry indicate Nicholas and Sarah only had two children, baptised in Chideock: Elizabeth 1724; and Nicholas 1729, he married Sarah Forwell 1723.

Records indicate Sarah died in 1729 and was buried in the St Giles Churchyard on the 6th March 1729.  Son Nicholas was born in 1729 and it is assumed Sarah died during or shortly after childbirth.  Nicholas died in 1748 and was buried in the Parish Churchyard on the 5th November3.
