Charles Simpson & Mary Dunn ©

Charles Simpson, the son of Charles Simpson and his wife (possibly Henrietta), was baptised in Badsey, Worcestershire, on the 5^th April, 1688¹.

On the 21^st October, 1717, also in Badsey, Charles married Mary Dunn².  Mary’s place of birth and parents are not known, but it is thought she was born around 1690.

Records and Indexes indicate Charles and Mary had seven children: Joseph 1718; William 1720; Mary 1723-1723; James 1726-1726; Charles 1730-1735; John 1731; and Charles 1736, he married Elizabeth Yeates 1757.

At the age of 81, Charles was buried in Badsey on the 25^th March, 1769³.  Mary survived her husband by eight years and was buried in Badsey on the 28^th February, 1777, she was around 88years old³.
