William Yeates & Mary Badger ©

It is believed William, the son of Elizabeth (nee Doughty) & Zachariah Yeates, was born, in Peopleton, Worcestershire, around 1700 and may have had a twin brother Zacharias.  FamilySearch references indicates William and Zachariah were both Baptised at St Bartholomews, Peopleton,on the 9^th May, 1700, but to-date record has not been sighted.

On the 20^th December, 1722, William married Mary Badger in St Nicholas, the Parish Church in Peopleton¹. 

It is believed Mary was the daughter of Edward Badger and Margaret (nee Lowe) and records indicate she was baptized in Peopleton on the 1^st August, 1703, but again to-date record has not been sighted. 

Records indicate William and Mary had ten children: Mary 1723; Elizabeth 1725-c1730; John 1729; William 1732-c1740; Elizabeth 1735, she married Charles Simpson 1757; Sarah 1737; Martha 1740; Alice 1742; William 1745; and Edward 1747.  All believed to have been born and baptised in Peopleton.

A reference for a possible Burial for William in Peopleton on 28^th November 1782 has been located, but record not yet sighted.  No other records for Mary have yet been located.
