Zachariah Yeates & Elizabeth Dougherty ©

It is not known who Zachariah's parents were, but it is believed he was born around 1660, possibly in or near Eckingham, Worcestershire.

Zachariah married Elizabeth Doughty in the St Nicholas, Parish Church in Peopleton, on the 23^rd December, 1688¹.  This record indicates Zachariah was from the Parish of Eckington and Elizabeth from the Parish of Pershore. 

Elizabeth is thought to have been born around 1665 in or near Pershore.

Records indicate Zachariah and Elizabeth had eight children: Elizabeth, 1690; Alice, 1692, both baptised in Pershore; John c1694; Zachariah & William 1700, William married Mary Badger 1722; Mary 1703; Martha c1707; and Sarah 1710, baptised in Peopleton.

A reference to a possible death record for Zachariah 30^th March 1750, in Peopleton has been found, but not yet confirmed.  To date no other record of his wife Elizabeth has been located.
