As the owner and sole artist of Simply Unique Motif, I take great pride in each piece you will discover on this website, at a craft show, or a home party. To assure value and excellence in each work of art, I have chosen basketry supplies and paints of select quality.

My basket collections are located in the Basketry Gallery. Some of the baskets are woven with accent colors and others with none at all. I use cranberry, forest green, navy blue, purple, red, rust orange, and even smoked reed. Upon completion, each basket is stained with a complementary color of Fruitwood, Golden Oak, or Jacobean.

You will find a selection of my hand-painted pieces in the Decorative Painting Gallery. Self-sealing outdoor paints are used for the planters, watering cans, and birdhouses. The enamel paints of the glassware items have been cured and are able to be handwashed when necessary.
