This indenture made and enter into this the 23rd day of February A.D. 1906 by and between Mrs. M. I. Warren and her husband D. C. Warren partied of the first part and Calvin Buie, George Buie and Anderson Wooley Trustees of the Hickory Block Methodist Church and their successors in office parties of the second part. All parties being of the county of Jefferson, state of Mississippi: Witnesseth that for deed in consideration of the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said parties of the first part do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and arrant unto the said parties of the second part their successors in office the following described lot or parcel of land lying and being situate in the County of Jefferson, State of Mississippi described as follows to wit: begin at an iron axle in the East edge of the public road leaving from Dr. D. C. Warren to Mrs. Cobbs 1.11 chains North of the East and West Quarter Section line where a cedar bears North 86 degrees East 40 links thence North 3 degrees West with the road 90 links to a fence, thence with fence North line and three quarter degrees East one and sixty hundredths chains to a wagon skein thence North eighty seven and one fourth degrees East, 375 chains to a wagon skein thence South one and one half degrees West two and fifty one hundredths chains to an iron axle, thence South eight seven and one fourth degrees West 3.76 chains to place of beginning containing one acre more or less situated in the East half of the South West quarter of the North east quarter of section 8, T8 N R 4 E. Bounded on the Sout and east by lands of Mrs. M. I. Warren South by burial grounds of Hickory Block Church and West by the road ? of needle fire and three quarters degrees East according to survey made by B. G. Mills, privileges and advantages therein situated or in anywise belonging thereto. In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto signed their names on the day and year first above mentioned.

Mary married Dr. Daniel Cameron Warren son of Joseph Joslyn Warren and Sarah Jane Cameron on 9 Mar 1871 in Union Church, Jefferson Co., MS. Daniel was born on 6 Feb 1851 in Union Church, Jefferson Co., MS. He died on 29 May 1926 in Union Church, Jefferson Co., MS. He was buried in Union Church Cemetery.
