FESTIVALS

1.) An Irish Festival is a Festival with over 50% of the Entertainment is Irish.
2.) A Scottish or Highland Festival is one with over 50% Scottish Entertainment and Games.
3.) A Celtic Festival is one with mixed Celtic Nations Entertainment. Or it can be solely Cornish, Welsh or Breton Festival.
4.) A Feis is usually dancing, language, music competions. A Feis has many Cultural contests but it's not the same thing as a Music Festival.

NOTES

1. A few festivals may be listed under both Celtic AND Irish or Scottish Highland Festivals.
2. Some festivals will be found under all 3 festival categories.
3. The Classic Celtic Highland Games & Festival in Bethlehem, PA, while predominantly Scottish is also a very mixed Celtic Event. So it can be found under Scottish and Celtic.
4. Some of those titled as a Celtic Festival are only found in either the Irish or Scottish Festivals but NOT under the Celtic Festivals because the 2013/2014 entertainment is solely Irish or Scottish; although some of these has vendors that may have items of interest to you, so check them out under either Irish or Scottish Festivals instead of Celtic Festivals.
