We're Coming to America: Joseph Marino, born November 25, 1879 immigrated to the U.S.(NY?)from Tripi, Provincio Messina, Sicily in the early 1900s.
He studied for the priesthood under the Roman Catholic church but couldn't afford the last year of studies so he turned to the shoe-making trade.
He married Maria Lombardo, born June 3, 1885, presumably in Italy before coming over to the U.S. They had 9 children living when Maria died of hemorraghing due to childbirth June 24, 1925.
Joseph passed on September 16, 1952 in Clearfield, PA?
