Opportunities will be available for singers, folk groups, dance companies & bands to perform at the festival, if you are interested send the profile of your group by e-mail and send by mail all release forms with your registration, or application (every dancer MUST SUBMIT a signed Release form to be eligible to participate).
NOTE: In order to participate as a performing company, your group must to be registered for any of the dance activities.

TO BE PART OF THE PUBLICITY FOR THE FESTIVAL, THE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR PERFORMING COMPANIES IS APRIL 20TH APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FROM APRIL 20 TO MAY 30 WILL BE CONSIDERED LATE AND THE GROUPS’ NAME WILL ONLY BE PRINTED ON THE FESTIVAL POSTERS & T-SHIRTS.
Provide proper pronunciation and spelling of your name to the announcer/s. Do you have your own MC? Could you recommend anyone as a knowledgeable MC for your group or for others? If yes, Please provide their contact information.
NOTE: Each organization will be allowed one up to three performances for the four days festival in different stage. Each performance is limited to (3 - 6 minutes of music for Infantil / Juvenil or 7 -10 minutes for Adults).

Choreographers, instructors, performers & students give their permission to the Las Vegas Annual World Folk Festival, Dance Congress & Competition to use their likeness in photographs & videos for advertising & publicity purposes.
The groups will be sharing dressing room, we have very limited dressing room space, please be courteous to other performers.
Performers & Contestants MUST TO ARRIVE EARLY AT LEAST 30-60 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR PERFORMANCE.
Performers at the Fremont St. we recommend wearing your first performance costume from your hotel room.
Will you have live music? You MUST send your information in advance.
NOTE: It is your responsibility to turn in and collect your music to/from the sound technician. All CD’s must be labeled / cued. Your music must to be send in advance by mail or email.

Smoking and eating are not allowed in the Theater & workshop areas at anytime.
Everyone is responsible for their costumes & belonging, make sure all items are not left behind.
Do not bring valuable items to the performances, workshops & competitions.

COMPETITION / No teachers may perform with students in duos or trio, just in production category.
No changes in competition entries will be allowed two weeks prior the competition.
All fees in each division are for each performer for one entry. You are limited to 15 entries per group.
If you get the festival's special registration each student will be limited to two entries, extra entrée/entries will have a fee.

Wrist bands must be worn at all times.
Please wear cover ups when leaving the workshops area.
Help us maintain a good relationship with our hotels and theaters. Courteous behavior must be exhibited at all times, be respectful to everyone, staff, performers, tech people and other guest in the hotel.
Keep the noise level low in your rooms, theater and hallways.
Use caution on the stairs and the elevators. No running in lobby or halls.
Show good judgment / adults do not perform with a hang over or lack of sleep, you are the example for other minors performing.
All participants, relatives of performers & observers agree to conduct themselves in a good manner. Please have a nice attitude and behavior at all times. All hotel and casinos premises are under security personnel surveillance.
Some areas of the casinos & slots machines are for adults only; chaperones are responsible to keep children & teens in the designated areas for minors.
MINORS MUST BE WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN AT ALL TIMES. NEVER LEAVE THEM WITHOUT SUPERVISION.
FEES FOR THE COMPETITION & WORKSHOPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
NONE OF THE PERFORMERS RECEIVES A FEE.
Every group coming to The Las Vegas World Folk Festival, Dance Congress and Competition is responsible for its own travel arrangements. Including food, transportation, and hospitality.
NOTE:
In order to participate as a performing company, half of the members in the group must be registered in the competition or the workshops.
Any guest that wants to see a theater performance will have to pay.
Performances at Fremont Street are open to the public
You group does not required to be here any specific day. We can work it out so that your performance is on the days that you will be in Las Vegas (For competitions please ask for available time).
