JOB DESCRIPTION, PRICE RATES: FIXED FEE & HOURLY/DAILY RATES

3. REPORTS...................................................YES.................$100 TO $1,500 per report or more.
Note: (WITH COSTS ESTIMATES, CONSTRUCTION DETAILS) On-Site Restoration Reports are based upon an hourly rate charge. $25.00 per hour for writing, editing, making drawings and plans, photo copying, and assembly. Also included may be other expenses such as cost of film and developing, binders, local mileage travel (@ .41 cents per mile), mailing envelopes, and postage.

RESTORATION DIRECTOR, MANGER, or SUPERVISOR.....FIXED FEE COST: The rate is $1,000 per diem plus all expenses including travel, food and lodging. Since these projects will cost many tens of thousands of dollars, and the average mill restoration may cost a million dollars. Clients and individuals in the museum and restoration profession tell me that this is a wise investment. Payment for a single day of per diem is paid at the time of work.



PHONE CONSULTATIONS: Will be at a fixed rate and agreed upon in advance.

E-MAIL QUESTIONS RATES: $20.00 per hour to answer general questions. $40.00 per hour to answer specific and technical questions. This includes, research, drawing, photo copying, scanning, and putting together information. Note: Other individuals, and organizations rates begin at $50.00 per hour for basic questions to $600.00 per hour for advanced millwright advice.



TRAVEL EXPENSES:

Travel Expenses Schedule #1 (Present Rate):

Travel Expenses will include: Food @ $30.00 per day (meals, snacks, drinks, not to exceed $30 per day). Mileage @ .51 cents per mile. This is based upon round trip from my door and the return trip home. Lodging (per over night). It also may include train and airline tickets, car rentals, taxi and bus fees, and all applicable tolls.

Travel Expenses Schedule #2 (New Rates):

Travel Expenses will be based upon an hourly rate.

Under 4 hours.....................................$250.00
Over 4 but less than 10 hours..............$500.00
Each additional 10 hours.....................$500.00




These prices are for travel expenses only. The work performed is not included in these
prices. Return trips are the same rate unless additional work is performed at another site.

All other work by quote only. Terms payable in 30 days upon receipt of work or report.
