Flying Cats & Astonauts

I like the idea of cats with wings, but here's another person's concept of flying cats. Want some good Photoshop wings? Check out BJ's Wings -- a nice person and talented artist.

Speaking of photos, here's one of water and ice on Mars. It just doesn't look real.

And the greatest, coolest photo of all (read about on Digg.com) is this recent astronaut photo. All I can say is WOW!!

Black Hawk Helicopter

Yesterday, my daughter was reselling a video game back to the store. The game was titled "Black Hawk Down." Up in the sky came a large military helicopter (a common enough site in the skies here). My husband said it was a Black Hawk! Funny.

And speaking of funny things, I was walking the greenway just when the sky was almost completely dark. I startled a rabbit who was right in front of me. Apparently, we didn't see each other so it was a big surprise to both of us. All this happened just as my friend J.C., was coming the other way. She saw a racoon family crossing between us which I missed because I was busy trying not to trip over rabbits. Its a wild world out there.

Fifteen Seconds of Fame

I am so proud of my husband who was on TV earlier tonight. He is working with a space goo called NOAX which is used to repair cracked tiles. Here's a short video. I held my camera in front of the TV and it turned out surprisingly well, all things considered. I have calling him the "peanut butter man" for what he said about the NOAX goop in this.

Angel Cats

Thanks to a question from Chelle, I found some wing brushes for Photoshop. These are much fun to use. Now I want to collect other brushes -- a whole new side of Photoshop to enjoy.
