Halloween is great! The city celebrated it last night. The mother dressed up as a witch .. "Because witches have cats," she said. The secret is on her -- its really cats who keep witches around. Witches are especially good servants.When the doorbell rang for the first time, the mother put on her hat and robe and took human treats to the door to give to little humans. I thought it was all kind of strange so I ran to the door to see what was going on. Something suddenly buzzed by the mother's ear and flew over her head. I was so excited that I could hardly stand it! A bug IN THE HOUSE! That's my favorite way to chase them. I took off after that inside bug as fast as I could go.
This was going to be a GREAT night. I sat by the door all evening. When the doorbell rang, I was there, waiting for the next bug. Halloween is now my favorite holiday!
For Dandelion, it was another thing. He likes Halloween, too, but only because it gives him a chance to escape and chances to get petted. He loves human attention and will let anyone pet him so the mother introduced him to the children who came by while I waited behind her for the next bug to come buzzing over her head.
