Eliza Roxy Norton married Joseph 
Hills Johnson II on the 8th of September in 1910 in Colonia Diaz, Chihuahua, 
Mexico.



They were part of the Mormon colony there. She was born there 20 Aug 1891and he 
was born in Johnson, Kane, Utah on 4 Dec 1890.



Unfortunately he was drowned while trying to save some lives in a flood in 
Winkleman, Gila, AZ 20 Jan 1916.



They had three children, Ferneth, Ethel and Linda and Eliza was expecting Joseph 
Hills Johnson III.



Martha Celestia Norton Holden Hogan married Almon Nahum Holden and when his 
first wife was killed she reared all of the children. One of them was my 
paternal grandmother, Julia Holden Whiting.
