(Jean) BREVARD I. I am also a descendant of the ALEXANDER family as well. Jane 
ALEXANDER who married John McKNITT(McKNIGHT) is my 8th Great-Grandmother. I have 
noticed a lot of errors in your info and would be willing to share what I have 
as well as sources with you to help in your research. Some of the children of 
Jane Alexander were from John McKNITT(McKNIGHT)'s other marriages with Jane 
WALLACE and Martha DALE. Please let me know if you are interested in seeing what 
I have as well as sources and so forth. I will be glad to share this info with 
you. Also the McKNITT (McKNIGHT) and ALEXANDER familes are both descended of 
Catherine STEWART DOUGLAS, Countess of Morton, a daughter of King James IV of 
Scotland. Plus the McKNIGHT family is also descended of the brother of Sir 
William WALLACE because of a marriage of a WALLACE descendant into the family."
