My site host provided this search screen. It does not always work. I've had success when trying a search repeatedly or when the Internet is less busy. 

For example, if you want to find our Irish ancestors, try the search word of Ireland. Ancestors listed at this site come from Connecticut more than any other single place, but we have Swedish, Welsh, English, German, Swiss, Irish, Scot, Colonial U.S. and even Native American in the melting pot.

SEARCH EVERYWHERE

   (THE ENTIRE INTERNET ... well, a lot of it, anyway.)

Search the Internet for anything.  I've had luck just asking questions like "How do I trace my family tree?" or "How do I make baked Alaska?" Maybe in this case, just "baked Alaska" would do (with or without quotes).

If you want to find genealogy pages, for example, try using multiple search words such as Morgan Family or Morgan Genealogy or use quotes for more specific searches.
