This is our smallest frog, Limnaeoedus ocularis. This is the most-detailed photo album you may ever encounter showing this species! It sounds more insect-like when compared to other frogs, and breeds whenever the rains are plentiful, and are quite loud for their small size! Even though they do have toe pads and sometimes climb, they usually clamber thru low vegetation. These were taken in Florida near St. Augustine.
