The "Frog of the North"! This one is found in the great Northwoods, along with the eerie cry of the Loon, and moose standing knee-deep in the muskeg. These produce an onion-like aroma when handled, and are quite fond of permanent ponds containing a lot of aquatic vegetation. This beautiful frog is a little more aquatic than the Rana c. melanota which is often found near it. These were taken in Quebec, near Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!
